Mark Elvin is a composer, tubist and has been known to do things with stringy basses. After a long career in West End orchestra pits, a short stint at The National Theatre, and writing for TV and radio, Mark now concentrates on writing compositions for his publishing house, Mucky Herbert Music.

Recent works include a series of solo instrumental studies - the “Journeys” series - some of which appear in music exam syllabuses, and some orchestra and brass ensemble pieces.
